The local procuratorate in Yiwu, a city in east China's Zhejiang province, has recently cooperated with theand public security bureau to further victims of crime.
At the beginning of 2017, the organization established a one-stop mechanism, meaning the court can assign relevant colleagues to get involved in cases as soon as evidence has been found.
Furthermore, authorities have been instructed to take the principle of "Once Only Inquiry" as their core guideline. This way, they can avoid the problems that arise from repetitive questioning, collecting evidence, testifying in court or other judicial activities.
The one-stop mechanism was applied to 30 criminal cases that were targeted at minors last year. Officials say the results have been satisfactory.
