'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' Well-received on Glo

, published in recent years, has become popular among global audiences, which spreads the experience of China's government and socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Xi Jinping: The Governance of China collects 79 speeches, approvals and congratulatory letters of Chinese president Xi Jinping from November 15, 2012 to June 13, 2014.

Foreign Languages Press published the second volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China in November 2017 in English and Chinese.

The book is issued both home and abroad with a global circulation of over 13 million copies after the publication.

Grasping China's Development

Mauricio Santoro, director of International Relations at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Brazil, paid an academic visit to China in 2017.

He was excited to talk about the book.

"I was studying Chinese when the first volume was published, and now I am reading the English version of the second volume, as the Portuguese version is not available yet," said Mauricio.

"I just feel that the fast development of China owes a lot to the leadership of (CPC), and members of CPC remain committed to innovation and keep seeking truth from facts," added Mauricio.

Borrowing Ideas from China

Pay Neo Reis and Dias, a Cuban couple both of whom once studied in China, has bought the first volume of the book in Spanish and the second volume in Chinese.

"I'd like to have a deeper and clearer understanding of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era," said Pay Neo Reis.

Dias holds that President Xi started from the grassroots level since his youth and has undertaken many difficult situations, and that's what Cubans need to learn from.

Expanding Vision of the World

The second volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, English version, came out in February on Amazon in the U.S.

William C. Jones, chief editor of the US magazine Executive Intelligence Review, says that he enjoyed reading the book.

"The Chinese government proposed the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, which brings benefits to other developing countries. China is making a far-reaching impact on the world," said Jones.

"Behind the words is the 5,000-year history of Chinese civilization. The Chinese philosophical thought contained in the book provides Westerners with a new perspective to see the world," Jones explained.

Learning the Wisdom of Governing A Country

Madan Regmi, Chairman of China Study Center, Nepal, was happy to share his views of the book with journalists from Xinhua.

"I appreciate this book, and there is a need for Nepal's government to learn the wisdom from Xi Jinping: The Governance of China," Regmi said.

Enhancing the People-Oriented Principal

Ali Sitas, president of South African BRICS Think Tank (SABTT), who has been studying China, is also a reader of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China.

"It is a masterpiece that was written in the easiest way to be understood. I have learned more about China and socialism with Chinese characteristics," said Sitas.

"People-oriented principles are the essence of the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics," added Sitas.

Sitas brought the idea to a book review conference of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China held recently in South Africa.
