Research Group Releases Latest Practice Guidelines on Breast
The Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) updated their guidelines and statistics this month, as was announced at a specialist forum in Beijing.
According to the statistics, breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors to attack women all over the world.
Experts said a guideline that conforms to China's national condition is necessary to promote the construction of people's health and the classification of the diagnosis of the cancer.
The guideline also aims to standardize treatment.
Jiang Zefei, Chairman of the Breast Cancer Expert Committee of the CSCO, said the new guidelines include more researcher by Chinese scholars and CSCO experts.
According to Jiang, procedures related to brain metastases and bone metastases were added to the guideline this year. Besides, it also highlights the timeliness of treatment options.
