Book Season Activities Kick off in E China

A book-themed promotional activity titled Literary Family, Beautiful Woman recently kicked off in front of the city library in the Yushan District of Ma’anshan in east China's .

The activity was jointly organized by the United Front Work Department, the Labor Union of Yushan District and Yushan Women's Federation.

The campaign aimed at enriching the cultural life of women, strengthening their cultural awareness and cultivating them with healthy and optimistic attitudes.

A shared reading activity, the Most Beautiful Book in My Mind, was staged during the opening ceremony, where participants read fragments of classic works.

In addition, the event featured a qipao (cheongsam) fashion show, an essay competition for local women called The Book that Beautifies My Soul and a themed public lecture.
